Scolari`s in Alameda

Scolari's is one of the best if not the best burger in Alameda. The burgers and fries are always good. I would highly recommend you check it out. It's not cheap but worth every penny spent.

Great atmosphere and very welcoming service. The menu was fresh and delicious. Will surely recommend this spot to anyone. Convenient rates and large meals. Keep up the great work.

Their burgers are the spotlight, and their other food is pretty good too. They also serve locally brewed craft soda. There is a tiny little area inside where you can eat standing by the window, and there are a few outdoor seats, but you can also eat at the neighboring bar.

Blueberry Burger!! Blue cheese, bacon, blueberry sauce; perfect mix of sweet and salt. Might well be the best burger you ever had.

The burger was great. A little pricey but worth it after a bit of drinking.

The aioli is killer! Super delicious burgers and hand cut fries. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Only reason for 4 stars is the price - damn expensive.

I called to place to order, they tell me it will be 15 minutes, I get there in 20 mins I wait in line pay ... and they tell me it will be a few more mins, I waited for about 45minutes! I saw at least 5 people order on the spot and leave before me. Finally I get my order which has somebody else's name on the box but seems same burger as mine and it's raw... I tried supporting a local business and treat myself (these burgers and fries are expensive). But never again. This is ridiculous. That cashier messed up my order and to cover it gave me a raw burger?!I'm beyond disappointed...

Best burger I’ve had lately. Garlic fries are incredible

Delicious Nashville hot fried chicken, crispy fries with a fluffy interior and loads of garlic. Great pit stop. They don't have much seating available but if you're all over 21 you can grab a beer and sit next door or, weather permitting, sit out front.

Stopped in while at lucky 13. I got the Pollo Al pastor tacos and some fries. The tacos were super good, had a kick to it but mmm,mmm. Not much seating but you can eat at the lucky 13 bar. It's a bit pricey but it's delicious.

Tried the Nashville Hot fried chicken. This is really really good w/mashed & gravy. Service - extremely polite & prompt. Small place. Prepare to stand in line during peak times. Firemen & policemen frequent the place. 4.7 stars!

The fried chicken sandwich and scampi fries were awesome. Personally didn't care for the way the buffalo fries got soggy while transporting home...but generous with flavor and toppings.

Really good hamburger and buffalo fries. My fiancee loves the blueberry burger. Usually takes a while to get through the line so I suggest calling in your order then picking it up.

For me it was just OK. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The chicken was cooked great I just felt it lacked flavor for me. The first bite shot hot grease all over. Fries were good and frickles, well they're hot pickles. Nothing to write home about. It was also on the pricey side. Salad, cheese burger, one order of fries and 3 drinks $74 bucks. Eh

The staff was awesome and really nice. We wanted to try it from the show. Dont get me wrong. The food was good. But it is definitely NOT worth the price it costs. I feel a bit ripped off.

Amazing!!! ❤ this is the blue berry burger. When I tell y'all this is one of the BEST burgers I've ever had. The bread, soy and buttery. The meat, fresh and seasoned to perfection. The French fries, FRESH and not too salty. Perfection... Really!

Came in after seeing Scolari's on Diners, Drive-ins, and Drives. I was excited to try the burger, but I have to be honest it was greatly overshadowed by the fried chicken! Both the regular and spicy fried chicken were phenomenal. The staff was helpful and Friendly. We will be back for that fried chicken!

Hands down best burgers in the Bay. The fries are amazing too. Not too many places to sit, unless you like to eat outside in the cold Alameda air, or want to kick it in the Lucky 13 bar next door.

Their daily special burgers was so good and massive. I love the taste and the chicken was so good as well.Customer service was great and friendly staff. Clean and well managed place.

My husband and I love this place. It's one of our Go-To's. My ONLY issue is that there will sometimes be a decent veggie option to a lame veggie option. It would be cool if they were more consistent with that part of their menu. Other wise, its fabulous!

Very neat and convenient spot. They serve large portions and for reasonable rates. We loved the meals very much and the waiters were very affable and explanatory. I recommend this place.

Some of the best burger and fries I've had. Very messy and greasy but so good. Also there is a long wait time for take out orders.

The blueberry blue cheese burger is awesome, but the hush puppies put everything over the top! This place is on the pricer side but worth it. Order, and walk next door to Lucky 13 for great drinks and beer. Scolari's walks your food over.

Very fresh food that was creative and tasty. We enjoyed sitting at the little table on the sidewalk watching the variety of people walk by. A fun experience and super tasty food.

I had pulled pork tacos there and they were excellent.

The peanut butter bacon cheeseburger with jam was surprisingly delicious. It was a pb&j meets bacon cheeseburger and I really couldn't believe how delicious it was. I would definitely order again and can even imagine in the future having a craving for it. My friend had the blueberry bleu cheeseburger and enjoyed it equally well. We are both looking forward to trying the homemade hushpuppies and other menu items. Garlic scampi fries were tasty as well. It's a little odd as there's not much seating, but they have it worked out that you can sit next door in the Lucky 13 bar. We wanted to sit on the patio there, but too much cigarette smoke as it is okay to smoke there. There's not really any follow up service after they bring you the food, so we got our own refills and went for our other requests back and forth from the bar to Scolaris. But it was an overall great experience. Would definitely recommend.

Hands down some of the best hush puppies and crispy fried chicken you will ever have. Recommend for future places to eat!

Every time I fly out of Oakland we make a stop here -- it is bar none the best burger joint I have ever been too. I always get the special and have yet to be disappointed. My fiancé ordered a salad, which was the first salad I've tried in almost a dozen trips, and it was awesome. The one knock of the place is its size, which didn't use to be an issue until the last time we went and there was a long line the second they opened. Thankfully you can eat at the bar next door as long as you don't mind relatively loud music. 5/5 all the way

I was amazed by all the flavor in my burger. One of the best things is the fries paired great with it.

Tried the Blueberry Bacon Blue Cheese Burger, Good Old Boy Fried Chicken (Nashville Hot) Sandwich, and House Fries. I definitely recommend the burger; the blueberry and blue cheese compliment each other well. The chicken sandwich had good heat, but was a little tough to chew and a little bit on the salty side. The house fries were also fairly salty. Fountain drinks are all made with pure cane sugar.

I love the caprese sandwich with big ripe tomatoes, mozzarella and aoli on a crunchy bagette.

Insanely good. Menu is interesting, food is absolutely delicious, and staff is mega friendly. You order at their small storefront and can eat there, but a much better experience is to head next door to lucky 13 and grab a beer as you wait. The peanut butter bacon burger left me drooling. Garlic fries are also so, so tasty. One reason to be in Alameda on the regular.

We watched this restaurant diner dives and drive-ins. He drove 159 miles to try it out. All I can say is, Scolari’s has, “DAM GOOD BURGERS!” . I ordered bacon, blue cheese, blueberry burger 😋WOW!! Fries cooked to perfection. My hubby played it safe ordered bacon cheese he said it the best burger he ever had!!I’m sad we have to leave and head home, we will be back soon!

The blue cheese blueberry burger, although it sounds bizarre, is absolutely outstanding. Get it delivered to the Lucky 13 taproom next door!

DELICIOUS! Will definitely be back. Good portions, the garlic fries were on point - if you love buffalo flavor you will love their fries too but it was a little too hot for me. The blueberry burger was amazingly good, as well as the regular burger.

This place is small but fantastic. Definitely try the burger with the blueberry (if you don't mind blue cheese). You can sit outside or go into the bar next door and they will deliver.

Delicious veggie burger. And the buffalo fried are a must try.
